PRESCHOOL - YMCA Membership Required
(For ages 3 - 5 and potty trained)
The YMCA Preschool is a safe, caring environment where children are encouraged to learn new skills, freely express themselves and explore their environment. The program promotes the Ys core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Through playful learning, preschoolers gain social skills and develop physical and cognitive abilities. The goal of this program is to create independent, self-confident, curious learners who can work well with others.

Preschoolers participate weekly in swim lessons, free swim pool time, gymnastics classes, sports programs and Childrens Hour at Jesup Library. In the classroom, children learn through daily experiences of literacy, dramatic play, art, sand and water exploration, music and movement, science, cooking and computers. The staff is lead by Sue Kropff, Head Preschool Teacher. In keeping with the purpose and philosophy of the YMCA, Sue and her staff strive to help children develop fully in body, mind and spirit.
For your convenience, the childcare center is open Monday - Friday 7:30am 5:30pm.
