We need your help... it's that simple.
Last year the MDI YMCA gave out approximately $20,000 in scholarships that enabled island residents, young and old, to join the Y or participate in programs they would not otherwise have been able to afford. Of that, 1/3 was for membership dues and 2/3 was for programs such as childcare, summer camp, youth sports, gymnastics team, etc. All in all, about 7% of our members received some form of financial assistance.
Without your generosity, we cannot continue to offer high quality programs and services. Won't you please help? There's no need to wait until you are contacted by volunteers in order to donate to the MDI YMCA. Here's how to do it!
