talk & walkTalks and Walks are Free!
Young adults, older adults – come to the totally free Talks and Walks program. This program begins with coffee and refreshments and a talk by a notable local. After the talk and discussion, feel free to walk around the indoor track, take a swim in the pool or learn to use the equipment in the fitness center. Please note that on days of questionable weather, the school cancellation policy is followed. The Talks and Walks Program runs from November until April each year. Recent topics have included “The Lost Gardens of Bar Harbor”, presented by the Bar Harbor Historical Society, and an informative talk on Diabetes, hosted by the Jackson Laboratory.
