close at 1st For generations, the MDI YMCA has reached out to families with educational, health & wellness, summer camp, character building and recreational programming. Membership and program fees do not cover all of the costs to support our programs & facility. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay, we need your help.

The MDI YMCA relies on the support of the business community to continue the community services and programs that we provide. Below are examples of how your tax deductible donation would be used:

$135 provides a child one week of Preschool giving him a safe & fun place to stay while his parents work.
A gift of $250 sponsors three teen social nights and provides a positive gathering opportunity for area teens.
For $500, provide one senior couple with an annual membership allowing them to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
A gift of $1700 provides annual family memberships to three families so they can spend quality family time together.
For $2500, sponsor ten local youth to play sports for one year giving them a great start in a lifetime of fitness.
A $5,000 gift provides two children with a year of after school child care giving them a safe & nurturing place to go after school.
For $10,000, sponsor eight children to attend 10 weeks of Summer Camp giving them an opportunity to build character & self confidence in a supportive environment.

President’s Roundtable

Since 1900, the local business community has maintained a tradition of tremendous support for the MDI YMCA. The President’s Roundtable Giving Society is designed to create a closer partnership between the Y and individual businesses and to provide the very highest levels of recognition. All President’s Roundtable levels of giving receive: A business listing with active link to your website on www.mdiymca.org, a listing on the YMCA community bulletin board and a listing in all program session guides (printed 4–6 times per year, average circulation 2,500 - 3,000 each issue) Plus the benefits listed at each level below.

Head of the Table $10,000+

Gymnastics or Swim Team Sponsorship, including 84" x 26" gymnasium or natatorium banner, 48" x 26" traveling banner, logo in team programs & on team apparel, two reserved tables at the Annual Meeting & Dinner and a YMCA supporter wall plaque for your place of business

Cabinet $5,000 - $9,999

Youth Basketball sponsorship, Soccer League sponsorship or lead sponsorship at either the YMCA Half Marathon or the Las Vegas Night Extravaganza, one reserved table at the Annual Meeting & Dinner, a YMCA supporter wall plaque for your place of business and a 48" x 26" gymnasium or natatorium banner

Council $2,500 - $4,999

Youth Basketball and Soccer League sponsorship, or sponsorship at either the Spring 10K and Fun Run, the Fourth of July Lobster Races or the Fall 5K, four tickets to the Annual Meeting & Dinner and a 48" x 26" gymnasium or natatorium banner

Member $1,500 - $2,499

Youth Basketball or Soccer League sponsorship, two tickets to the Annual Meeting & Dinner and a 48" x 26" gymnasium or natatorium banner

Other Giving Societies

The MDI YMCA is more than swimming, aerobics & basketball. The Y stresses teamwork, personal growth, leadership development & fun. Core values of caring, honesty, respect & responsibility are incorporated into all programs. Your support ensures that we can continue to provide programs that help children grow into respectful and contributing members of our community. Recognition at the Benefactor level includes a listing on the MDI YMCA Website. Recognition for all levels below includes a listing in one of the program session guides.
