"Drop-in" Swim Lessons - Open to Adults & Children
For $10, you can drop in and get a quick tune-up lesson. We'll have two separate 1/2 hour lessons ($10 per 1/2 hour). One runs 9:00am - 9:30am Fridays and the other runs 9:30am - 10:00am on Friday mornings.

Masters Swim Team (Ages 19+)
A coached workout for all levels/abilities. This program is for former swimmers or fitness swimmers who wish to get a good workout in a group atmosphere. Welcome Coach Walls!
Private Swim Instruction

Aqua-Aerobics (Ages 18+)
Offered Year Round. Designed for non-swimmers as well as swimmers - regardless of age or physical condition. The buoyant quality of water makes possible movements that can be very difficult on land. Rehabilitation of muscles, increased strength and endurance, release of stress and tension, and improved appearance are all possible through participation in this water exercise program. (min 3 max 20)
Low Impact Water Exercise (Ages 18+)
Offered Year Round. Participants will be led through a series of exercises which, with the aid of the water’s buoyancy and resistance, can help improve joint flexibility. The water and gentle movements can also help relieve pain and stiffness. A great class for those with arthritis, MS or other conditions in which mobility is limited. (min 3 max 20)
Log Rolling (Age 8 to Adult)
Offered Spring Session. The world famous Timber Tina herself - Tina Scheer and her staff will teach you how to roll and balance on a log in the MDI Y pool. Lots of log rolling, expert instruction - plenty of falling in the water - tons of fun! Must be a deep end swimmer. Saturdays, 8:30am - 9:30am. $32 Members/$64 non-members
Aqua-Kickboxing (Ages 18+) (Not offered Spring/Summer Sessions)
Offered Winter and Early Spring Sessions.
Close your eyes, center your breathing, now front snap kick, punch, side kick, side kick, back kick, spinning back round house, jump... suspend for a moment, focus... kick out with both legs, feel the power...! No - you’re not reliving a scene from The Matrix or Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you’re getting fit and losing weight with Aqua-Kickboxing. Come have fun - live the adventure. (min 3 max 12)
